The Civic Science Engagement Library (CSEL) aims to organize and provide rapid access to the growing literature around informal STEM learning, science communication, science outreach, science engagement, and science policy (aka civic science). The content is focused on written works such as reports, articles, blogs, and datasets. The library is part of our strategic goal of supporting stakeholders in civic science around the world. The library is committed to curating and include diverse content from around the world on or about civic science.
The library was developed and is currently managed by the Civic Science Media Lab. It is powered by Zotero and features a powerful search engine to help founders, funders, practitioners, educators, leaders, professionals, and all newcomers who want to have rapid access about the developments in the field.
